HUI ENStarting with the frame
The trailer originally had a flat deck with a small fence around it. I removed the wood and kept the bottom frame as the foundation for the new build.

Camping

I turned a second-hand flat utility trailer into a wooden teardrop camping trailer.
Building the body
I designed and built the wooden body, including the roof, to turn the frame into a teardrop trailer. It brought together design work and a much larger woodworking project.
Designing for durability
I had to think about how the structure would handle movement and forces on the road. Durability was a design goal throughout the build, from the overall shape to how the wooden parts fitted together.
