A little
about me.

I’m Hui En Qian. I study Pure and Applied Sciences, swim competitively, and enjoy making things with my hands.

THE BUILDING SIDE

It started
with LEGO.

My robotics experience started with LEGO Mindstorms and Technic. Motors, sensors, a controller, and a collection of pieces gave me a way to combine building with programming.

Since then, my projects have included an electric bike conversion, a solar charging setup, furniture for my garage, and a camping trailer built from an old frame.

I use Onshape to design parts for my 3D printer. I’m interested in taking my robotics experience further and building with other materials and components.

THE SWIMMING SIDE

Swimming
since a kid.

I’ve been swimming since I was a kid, and it’s a big part of my life. It has taught me to keep showing up, manage my time, and stay committed over the long term.

I enjoy being part of a team, at the pool and when building something together.
